Superstruct Building Surveyors (formerly Building Consultants WA) provides prompt and cost effective building surveying services in Western Australia. We are passionate about the built environment and industry best practice. BAL Assessors.
Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) assessment services completed by level 1 accredited Bushfire Planning & Design (BPAD) practitioners registered with the Fire Protection Authority (FPA) including AS3959 Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) reports for projects located in bushfire prone areas in Western Australia.

Kyle Smith | MAIBS, RICS, BPAD

Kyle brings over 18 years of experience to Superstruct. You name it, he's worked on it. Kyle has a successful track record in managing a variety of unique and complex projects across residential, commercial and industrial developments. He has played a vital role in the inception and delivery of a large range of construction projects in Perth and throughout Western Australia. Kyle's diverse experience enables him to communicate effectively with clients and all interested parties, from trades to key stakeholders. He is known for his blue collar work ethic, broad technical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail. His work has seen him complete over 2700 building inspections and 800 projects certified to date.
Kyle is passionate about the built environment, customer focus and the conservation of Western Australia's heritage buildings. When not at work, he enjoys spending time in or near the ocean with family and friends.
Kyle is a registered level 1 building surveying practitioner and building surveying contractor in Western Australia with the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS). He is also a registered level 1 BPAD practitioner (BAL assessor). Completing his education at Wesley College and later Curtin University, Kyle has successfully completed a Masters Degree in Building Surveying, Postgraduate Diploma in the Built Environment and Bachelor of Applied Science, Construction Management and Economics. His expertise is further advanced by ongoing professional development and industry experience.
